CSPT has reserved a block of rooms at the Omni Hotel in New Haven at a
rate
of $79 per night. All reservations must be made by November 17. Call
the
Omni at 1-800-THE-OMNI and say that you are reserving a room for the
Ethics,
Politics, and Economics conference.

By Air

New Haven: Tweed-New Haven Airport

The closest airport to campus, Tweed-New Haven, is a short 10-minute taxi
ride to hotels. US Airways is the only commuter carrier servicing
Tweed-New
Haven, with connections through Washington National and Philadelphia.
Taxi
service from the airport to hotels and campus costs $10 to $12; contact
Metro Taxi, 777-7777.

Hartford: Bradley Airport

Bradley Airport is located north of Hartford, about 1 hour from New
Haven.
It is serviced by all major airline carriers. 

From Bradley to New Haven: Take CT Limo, $21 one way, $38 round trip;
call
ahead for reservations (800) 472-5466; drop off at New Haven's Long Wharf
Terminal, a five-minute cab ride to hotels and campus; contact Metro Taxi
777-7777. Rental cars also available from Bradley Airport.

New York: Kennedy, LaGuardia, and Newark Airports

Approximately 2 to 3 hours from the OMNI.

Prime Time Shuttle Service (800) 733-8267, from Kennedy $41 one way and
LaGuardia $41 each way (each additional person in party $28); drop off at

Newark
($41 one way); drop off at New Haven's Long Wharf Terminal, a five-minute

By Bus or Train

Peter Pan (800) 343-9999 and Greyhound (800) 231-2222 both serve New
Haven,
with bus terminals at New Haven's train station, Union Station. Taxis
are
usually at the train station (or call 777-7777) and cost approximately $6
to
get to the OMNI or to Luce Hall.

Amtrak (800) 872-7245 and Metro North Commuter Railroad (800) 638-7646
offer
frequent service to Union Station. Travel times to New Haven are as
follows: from Boston 3 hours, from New York 2 hours, from Philadelphia 4
hours. Taxis meet all trains and cost approximately $6 to get to the
OMNI
or to Luce Hall.

By Car

1½ hours from New York City, 2 hours from Providence, 3 hours from
Boston.

From Hartford and North

To Omni Hotel: Take I-91 south to Exit 1 (Downtown Route 34 exit). Once
on
Route 34, take Exit 1 and proceed to the first traffic light. Take a
right
at the light onto Church Street. Take a left at the third light onto
Chapel. Take a left at the next light onto Temple Street. OMNI New
Haven
Hotel entrance will be on the left.

To New Haven Hotel: Take I-91 south to Exit 1 (Downtown exit). Go
straight
on the exit expressway to York Street, Exit 3. After exit, move
immediately
right and turn right onto York Street. Go one block to George Street and
turn right. The New Haven Hotel entrance will be on your left.

To Luce Hall: Take I-91 south to Exit for Trumbull Street. At end of
exit
ramp, go straight through three lights (you will be on Trumbull Street).
After third light, take first right onto Hillhouse Avenue. Luce Hall is
the
second building on your left.

From I-95, North or South

To Omni: Take Exit 47 (Downtown) onto Route 34. Take Exit 1 and proceed
to
first traffic light. Take a right at the light onto Church Street. Take
a
left at the third traffic light onto Chapel Street. Take a left at the
next
traffic light onto Temple Street. The OMNI New Haven Hotel entrance will
be
on your left.

To New Haven Hotel: Take Exit 47 (Downtown exit). Go straight on the
exit
expressway to York Street, Exit 3. After exit, move immediately right
and
turn right onto York Street. Go one block to George Street and turn
right.
The New Haven Hotel entrance will be on your left.

To Luce Hall: Take I-95 to I-91 North (whether you are coming from 95
North
or South). Get off at Trumbull Street exit. At end of exit ramp, go
straight through three lights (you will be on Trumbull Street). After
third
light, take first right onto Hillhouse Avenue. Luce Hall is the second
building on your left

Walking Directions from Omni to Luce

From the hotel entrance, take a right onto Temple Street. After 4
blocks,
make a left on Grove Street. Then, turn right onto Hillhouse Avenue.
Luce
Hall (34 HillHouse Avenue) will be on your left.

Parking Directions

Parking for Luce Hall is available on the street with parking meters. Or
you can park in a parking garage located on Audubon Street. For those
driving in - whether from I-91 or I-95 - at the end of the exit ramp (see
above directions), make a left at the light onto Orange Street. Go to
the
first light, and make a right onto Grove Street. Make your first right
(at
the light) onto Whitney. Make your first right onto Audubon Street. The
parking garage is on your left.

To get to Luce Hall from the parking lot by foot, walk down Audubon
Street
to Whitney. Make a right onto Whitney. At your first light, make a left
onto Trumbull. Walk past one light, and then take your first right onto
Hillhouse Avenue. Luce Hall is located on your left at 34 Hillhouse
Avenue.
